*The allowance is for carrying fellow employees in a car or van on journeys which are also work journeys for them. Only payments specifically for carrying passengers count and there is no relief if you receive less, or nothing at all.

Fuel only allowances for company cars
The rates that apply where employers reimburse employees for business travel in their company cars, or require employees to repay the cost of fuel used for private travel for journeys undertaken on or after 1 July 2009 are as follows:
